To become eligible for induction into the Hall of Fame, an individual must be 45 years of age or older, have significant and documented accomplishments in an athletic endeavor, be identified with the Greater Chattanooga area and possess high moral character and unquestionable integrity.

The first step in the process is to document the achievements of the individual to be considered.  The Board of Directors has a broad background pertaining to athletics in the Greater Chattanooga area and in most cases will identify and document qualified individuals.  However, we are glad to have input from the general public.

There is a downloadable, 2 page form at the bottom of this page that can be printed.  Fill in the form with the applicable information and then either give it to a board member or mail it to the address provided below.

If a Board Member thinks that an individual should be considered for induction, then the individual will be recommended to the Board.  If the Board accepts the recommendation, the individuals name will be added to our "waiting list".

Each fall a board nominating committee reviews each name on that list and recommends a slate of nominees to the full board for consideration for induction at the following year's banquet, usually in late February or early March.

Be sure to include the name of the person recommending the athlete and that person's contact information so the board can contact that person if we have any questions.
